The Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal (CCPT) was set up by an Act of Parliament, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 Section 39 to adjudicate on matters prohibited by the same act, amongst other functions.
The Tribunal, consisting of the Chairman and six members from the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria is a court of record set up to review the decisions of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and other sector regulators on matters relating to Competition and Consumer Protection with jurisdiction all over the Federation.
