Ibrahim El- Yakubu

Ibrahim El-Yakubu was born 5th August 1959 in Argungu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. After completing his Primary and Secondary School Education at Argungu and Minna Respectively, he attended State College of Arts and Science, Sokoto where he obtained an I.J.M.B certificate, he thereafter bagged a Bsc Sociology from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Masters in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the same University.
Ibrahim El-Yakubu started his career as a lecturer at the Waziri Umaru Federal Polythecnic, Birni Kebbi and then the National Human Rights Commission where he rose through the ranks in the Federal Civil Service of Nigeria. He served in several Directorate level before he retired in 2019 as the Director of Recruitment and appointment. He resumed office in March 2021 at the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal upon his appointment in December 2020 and official inauguration by President Muhammadu Buhari as Member of the Tribunal to represent the Northwest region.
